BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM) TECHNICIAN
Summary
BIM Technician creates and manages 3D building models and workflows using Revit and Navisworks to coordinate construction projects and detect clashes.
Job Description & Requirements
- Prepare and/or assist in BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflow & methodologies.
- Develops BIM capability and capacity for Architecture, Structures, MEP, 4D Scheduling, Clash Detection and Construction Planning.
- Liaises with clients, consultants, suppliers and in-house team on the implementation of BIM.
- Responsible for the preparation of project drafting plan and deliverables with project engineer
- Familiar with BIM execution plan, requirements, process and workflow.
- Manage the drafting resources to meet the project timelines
- Develop team performance through capability development and specific/constructive feedback
- Bachelors’ degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Technology, with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in BIM/ Revit (Architectural/ Structural and Reinforcement/ MEP modelling and Navisworks)
- Industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional, BCA BIM courses) is preferred.
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
