Summary

Oversee bulk material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory counts in a lubricants production warehouse using forklifts and yard equipment.

Join our team as a key part of our warehouse and production operations. In this role, you will manage the movement of raw materials and finished goods, oversee shipping and receiving activities, sample incoming materials, and prepare outbound shipments. You will help ensure production teams have the supplies they need to operate efficiently while supporting accurate inventory management through cycle counts and collaboration with the inventory team. Purpose Of This Position

This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the Bulk Operations team by accurately counting inventory, managing shipping and receiving of bulk raw materials, and loading trucks for shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sample, load, and unload bulk raw materials and finished goods.
  • Operate equipment, hoses, valves, and a yard dog (yard jockey/terminal tractor) to support material movement throughout the facility.
  • Verify shipping documentation, product identification, and shipment quantities.
  • Supply materials to blending and filling operations to support production needs.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, conduct inspections, and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with operations, inventory, and production teams to ensure efficient daily operations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed As A Bulk Operations Technician

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 - 3 years of similar warehouse/bulk operations experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Able to complete training for Indiana CDL, if required
  • Able to operate electric forklift and obtain ILA forklift certification
  • Able to work in a group setting or independently
