Bulk Supervisor
About the Role
As a Bulk Supervisor, you'll be a hands-on leader responsible for keeping apartment communities clean, safe, and ready for waste collection. Working alongside your team, you'll drive a company box truck or truck + trailer, inspect properties, remove bulky items, maintain dumpster and compactor areas, and ensure every stop meets our quality standards. You'll also provide day-to-day guidance to your team and help keep field operations running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who leads with accountability, communicates well, and takes pride in building a reliable, high-performing operation. Success in this role comes from consistent execution, strong relationships, and a willingness to step in wherever needed.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full Time
- Monday- Friday (Weekends as-needed)
- Start time: 4:00am to 12:00pm
- Pay $25.00-$27.00/hr
What You'll Do
Team Leadership
- Lead by example while providing day-to-day guidance and support to the Bulk and Leveling team.
- Step in as a working technician when coverage or extra support is needed.
- Keep the team stocked with the tools and supplies needed to work safely and efficiently.
Field Operations
- Drive a company truck along an assigned route servicing apartment communities.
- Inspect, photograph, and document bulky items using company technology.
- Keep dumpster and compactor areas clean, safe, and compliant by removing debris, breaking down cardboard, and redistributing trash as needed.
- Ensure bulky item removal and property cleanups meet company quality standards.
Reporting & Communication
- Document daily work, property conditions, and service issues accurately.
- Communicate with your manager and teammates to resolve issues and keep work on track.
What You Bring
Required
- 2+ years of experience in field operations, logistics, property management, or a related industry.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card). If you don't already have one, we'll help you obtain it.
- Comfortable using email, mobile apps, and operational software.
Nice to Have
- Experience in waste management, facilities services, or route-based operations.
- Experience driving a box truck or truck and trailer.
- Familiarity with CRM or operations management software.
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
