Description

Air Liquide began operations in Malaysia in 1927 and is one of the pioneers of the gas industry in Malaysia. Operating in 11 locations in Malaysia, comprising both sales offices and production facilities, Air Liquide supports our customers through providing innovative solutions at every step of their production, including industrial and specialty gases, energy solutions, application technologies and services. With a strong workforce of 400 employees and business growth through our recent acquisition with nationwide presence, this will provide an exciting experience and journey with the opportunity that is unique yet challenging to gauge the integration and synergy processes that will change the entire competition landscape in Malaysia.

The Fleet Executive plays a critical role in ensuring daily delivery fleet availability, strict regulatory compliance, and high safety standards for industrial gas distribution (including liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon). This role oversees fleet maintenance, transport permits, safety monitoring systems, and serves as an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator for Bulk Logistics.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Transport Compliance & Licensing: Maintain and renew all required transport compliance documents, permits, DOSH registrations, and licenses for the delivery fleet and unfired pressure vessels/tankers.
  • Fleet Availability & Maintenance: Oversee daily delivery fleet availability and operational readiness. Manage routine maintenance, black/white parts, vendor service quotes, and raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for repairs or vehicle modifications.
  • OSH & Safety Coordination: Serve as a designated OSH Coordinator for Bulk Logistics. Collaborate with HSE teams on Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Risk Assessments (HIRARC) for bulk loading and customer site unloading operations.
  • Safety & In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems: Oversee and manage in-vehicle monitoring systems (e.g., Guardian Live / GMD) to monitor driver fatigue, distraction events, and system configuration settings.
  • Vendor & Operations Coordination: Work closely with drivers, master drivers, external maintenance workshops, and customer site representatives to ensure seamless gas delivery and safety compliance.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in fleet management, transport logistics, or distribution operations, preferably within industrial gases or hazardous chemical transport.
  • Sound understanding of occupational safety coordination, driver/vehicle safety monitoring systems (e.g., Guardian Live), and DOSH regulatory compliance standards.
  • Hands-on familiarity with procurement workflows (raising PRs/POs), vendor repair coordination, and transport maintenance management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for operational reporting and data tracking; familiarity with Power BI or similar analytical and visualization tools is a strong advantage.
