Bunker Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

• Attend on board vessels to carry out surveys pertaining to bunker fuel.

• Co-ordinate with VPS customers in respect of work schedules and requirements.

• Carry Out sampling and measurements

• Prepare survey documents.

Reporting Line & Location

• Reports to the BQS Operations Manager with no direct reports

• Based in Singapore

Requirements

• Must possess a Diploma in Nautical, Marine Engineering or Maritime Transportation from local polytechnics. Fresh graduates are welcome

• Holder with valid bunker surveyor license issued by MPA will be an advantage.

• COC Class 3 Deck Officer / COC Class 4 Marine Engineer with tanker experience will be preferred

• Shore working experience with a marine surveying company will be an advantage.

• Due to the nature of the job, you are expected to work irregular hours; outside office hours and weekends.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
