Role Summary :
As the P&C Technology Innovation & Solutions Engineer, you will act as a hands-on technical partner to Product Delivery Leads (PDLs) and work alongside Solution Architefcts. You will evaluate technology roadmaps, assess feature feasibility, and build cloud-native prototypes and integration adapters for our P&C platform ecosystem.
In this role, you will focus on practical, hands-on technical execution: testing API payloads, writing serverless glue code, conducting Security Risk Assessments (SRAs), and validating integration feasibility in real-world cloud environments to support product delivery and architecture implementations.

Responsibilities :
- PDL & Architecture Advisory: Partner daily with Product Delivery Leads and Solution Architects to assess the technical feasibility, latency, rate limits, and integration impact of proposed roadmap features across Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone and many other P&C Cloud Solutions.
- Cloud Prototyping & Integration Enablers: Engineer lightweight, serverless cloud glue (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway) and build rapid Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) to connect core SaaS platforms with internal cloud environments.
- Vendor Technical Due Diligence: Lead deep-dive technical discussions with vendors. Inspect API/SDK capabilities, payload schemas, and authentication models beyond high-level product demonstrations.
- Security & Compliance Risk Reviews: Drive technical Security Risk Assessments (SRAs) and data-flow mappings for new tools and integration patterns in close coordination with Cybersecurity and Risk teams.
- System & Ecosystem Optimization: Analyze existing P&C system capabilities and cloud resources to eliminate redundant middleware, optimize runtime performance, and ensure full utilization of owned tools.
Requirements
- Cloud Certification: Active certification in at least one major public cloud platform—AWS certified (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Developer or SysOps) strongly preferred; Azure or GCP certification acceptable with demonstrated AWS familiarity.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Serverless: Hands-on proficiency with core cloud services (AWS preferred: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
- APIs & Integration: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, JSON/XML payloads, and modern authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
- Scripting & Code: Proficiency in modern scripting languages for rapid PoCs and data transformations (e.g., Python, Node.js/TypeScript).
- Security & Systems Analysis: Practical experience conducting Security Risk Assessments (SRAs), data flow modeling, payload schema validation, and technical risk reviews.
- Technical Translation: Ability to translate complex cloud and API parameters into clear technical trade-offs for PDLs and business stakeholders.
- Proactive Engineering Mindset: Self-driven curiosity to inspect endpoints, write PoC code, and solve technical roadblocks without waiting for exhaustive specifications.
- Ownership & Accountability: Strong sense of end-to-end technical accountability, taking personal responsibility for delivering reliable PoCs, thorough technical evaluations, and accurate feasibility findings on schedule.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to work seamlessly with Solution Architects, Cybersecurity teams, and Product Delivery Leads to turn architectural designs and product requirements into validated, working solutions.
