About the Opportunity

At CSR, we're building solutions for a better future, with a relentless focus on creating sustainable value across our business, customers, communities, and people.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Transformation team on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).

Working as part of a project delivery team, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic business transformation initiatives by analysing current-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping design and implement future-state solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

This role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse range of transformation initiatives, partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, project teams, and technology stakeholders to drive process improvement and organisational change.

Importantly, this is a business-focused role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and business process expertise. We are looking for someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business needs and solution delivery while ensuring outcomes remain aligned to strategic objectives.

About the Role

As the Business Analyst, you will partner closely with Project Managers, Change Managers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to understand business challenges, gather and document requirements, analyse processes, and support the design and implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions.

You will play a key role in both current-state analysis and future-state design, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into practical solutions that support operational and strategic goals.

Key focus areas will include:

  • Business requirements gathering and analysis
  • Current-state and future-state process design
  • Business process improvement and optimisation
  • Data analysis and insight generation
  • Business case development and benefits identification
  • Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
  • Solution evaluation and validation
  • Testing and business readiness activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse current business processes, operating models, and ways of working to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, document, validate, and manage business requirements across transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to understand business needs and define future-state solutions.
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, business requirements documentation, and functional specifications.
  • Lead the creation of future-state business process documentation, including workflows, process steps, and work instructions.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, risks, and opportunities that support business decision-making.
  • Support business case development through robust analysis, solution evaluation, and benefits identification.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Assess impacts of proposed changes and support transition planning and business readiness activities.
  • Prepare test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate solution outcomes.
  • Monitor and support the realisation of business benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Change Managers, and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to project governance, reporting, issue management, and decision-making activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to influence outcomes and support sustainable change.

About You

You are a collaborative and commercially minded Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex business problems and delivering meaningful organisational change.

You bring strong analytical capabilities and are comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups to understand challenges, facilitate discussions, and develop practical solutions that create value for the business.

You thrive in dynamic project environments and can balance strategic thinking with detailed analysis and delivery support.

You'll Bring

  • Experience as a Business Analyst supporting business transformation, process improvement, or change initiatives.
  • Strong capability in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience in current-state and future-state process mapping.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
  • Ability to engage effectively with business users, leadership teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, including requirements, testing, implementation, and transition activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and build credibility across a broad stakeholder group.
