Summary
The Business Analyst engages stakeholders to identify business needs and translates them into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions while ensuring compliance with security and government ICT standards.
What You Will Do
Engage stakeholders and users to understand business needs, pain points and desired outcomes.
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and digitalisation.
Translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements, priorities, dependencies and trade-offs.
Work with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to shape and deliver practical solutions.
Support backlog refinement, UAT, implementation and commissioning activities.
Manage stakeholder expectations and surface risks, issues and dependencies early.
Ensure solutions consider relevant security, data governance and Government ICT requirements.
Identify opportunities to continuously improve products, systems and business processes.
What We Are Looking For
Degree/Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Experience with government digital services, Jira/Confluence, cloud technologies, APIs, system integration or Government ICT governance would be an advantage.
