Job Summary

You will support AI initiatives and governance by helping public officers understand, evaluate, and adopt AI safely. This role involves driving AI awareness, designing prototypes, monitoring projects, and enabling responsible AI use across MSF divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify operational challenges and inefficiencies where AI solutions can improve processes and automate tasks within MSF divisions
  • Design and support the development of AI prototypes to drive adoption and integration success across teams
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of deployed AI projects to inform strategies for scaling successful implementations
  • Conduct workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to build AI literacy and promote safe, responsible AI adoption in daily work
  • Track and report on AI initiative outcomes, including efficiency improvements and cost savings, to support long-term AI strategy development
  • Develop reusable frameworks, standards, documentation, and training materials to ensure sustainable AI process excellence
  • Communicate complex technical AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate understanding and adoption
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, policy, frontline teams, and external partners to align AI initiatives with organizational goals
  • Maintain structured, detail-oriented documentation and follow through on project deliverables with accountability

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a technical business analyst, AI advocate, or innovation practitioner with hands-on involvement in AI awareness, adoption, or innovation initiatives
  • Good understanding of large language models (LLMs), including their functioning, prompt engineering, application development, and associated risks
  • Interest in AI development trends, including global AI regulations and guidelines
  • Competency in Python programming and familiarity with cloud deployment of machine learning models and LLMs
  • Experience working in the public sector is a bonus
  • Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and humility
