Business Analyst ( API )
Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst – API & System Integration to bridge business requirements and technical solutions across enterprise systems.
You will work closely with business users, developers, system analysts, middleware teams, and external partners to analyze requirements, define API and integration specifications, support testing, and ensure successful system implementation.
Job Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional, API, and system integration requirements.
Analyze business processes, system flows, and integration points between source and target systems.
Prepare API Specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICD), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and Data Mapping.
Define API requirements including endpoints, HTTP methods, request/response structures, JSON/XML payloads, validation rules, and error handling.
Coordinate with business users, developers, system analysts, middleware teams, vendors, and external partners.
Prepare and support SIT, UAT, test scenarios, defect analysis, and issue resolution.
Validate APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or SoapUI.
Support deployment, go-live, post-implementation, API documentation, governance, and monitoring.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business Computer, MIS, or related fields.
2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Integration Analyst, or related role.
Experience working with API or System Integration projects.
Good understanding of REST API, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, and integration concepts.
Experience preparing API Specifications, ICD, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, or Data Mapping.
Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SoapUI, or similar tools.
Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and system implementation.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good command of English with TOEIC 550 or equivalent.
