Business Analyst
We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Business Analyst, you'll help transform business requirements into customer communication solutions that deliver meaningful experiences for our members. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to capture, analyse and document requirements, support the delivery of correspondence across multiple channels, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our customer communication capabilities.
You'll bring together business and technical perspectives, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, data sources are understood, and solutions are aligned to stakeholder needs. Working in a collaborative Agile environment, you'll partner with Analyst Programmers, business teams and project stakeholders to deliver quality communication outcomes and support the Quadient Inspire platform.
We see this role as a great opportunity for an IT graduate, emerging analyst, or professional seeking to transition into Business Analysis. The position is designed for those developing their experience and may not provide the level of challenge or responsibility typically sought by experienced Senior Business Analysts.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.
Day to day, you'll:
- Apply your knowledge of customer communication management solutions and Quadient Inspire to translate business requirements into technical solution requirements.
- Partner with business and project stakeholders to recommend communication solutions that meet customer and business needs.
- Capture, analyse and document requirements for customer communications across multiple delivery channels.
- Gather and document information required by Analyst Programmers, including data source mapping and solution requirements.
- Coordinate the delivery of correspondence and communication initiatives.
- Provide reporting and insights on communication outcomes to stakeholders.
- Analyse and document communication-related business processes and procedures.
- Perform business testing activities to ensure the quality and accuracy of communication solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and business representatives to deliver and support effective solutions.
- Contribute to the team's Agile ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives.
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You have experience within Superannuation, Financial Services, or the Customer Communication Management (CCM) domain.
- Your background includes business analysis, requirements elicitation, and solution analysis within project or BAU environments.
- You'll have an understanding of database structures and data modelling, with experience writing SQL queries.
- You're able to manage competing priorities and multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
- You hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Your ability to build effective stakeholder relationships enables successful collaboration and outcomes.
- You'll adapt quickly to changing priorities, timelines and business needs.
- You're recognised for your strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- You have experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Your experience with Quadient Inspire or similar correspondence platforms will be highly regarded.
