Business Analyst, B2B Platforms

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, analytical and technology-oriented individual to support and enhance our B2B institutional trading platforms, API solutions and connectivity infrastructure. Acting as a key liaison between the B2B business unit and IT development teams, you will translate business needs into practical technology solutions, coordinate platform enhancements and system integrations, and provide technical support to ensure smooth platform operations. You will also identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to strengthen our B2B technology capabilities and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Development: Identify and propose new platform features, API integrations and system enhancements to support business growth and client needs.

2. Business Analysis: Gather and analyse business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for IT development.

3. Platform Support: Support daily platform operations, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT, clients and external vendors.

4. Project Coordination: Monitor development progress, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support the rollout of new features.

5. Process Improvement: Review existing workflows and explore opportunities for automation, including AI and RPA, to improve operational efficiency.

6. Platform Demonstration: Conduct platform demonstrations for institutional clients and business partners, showcase key features and capabilities, and gather feedback for future enhancements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline

• Good understanding of one or more of the following: securities trading platforms, SQL, APIs, FIX connectivity, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

• Knowledge of securities trading workflows, order management, market data or brokerage operations would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think independently, identify business needs and propose practical solutions.

• Proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.

• Relevant experience in business systems analysis, platform support, API integration, system connectivity or technology solutions would be an advantage
