Business Analyst (Bank / Finance, 40-60K)
Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 per month
Job Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Develop user stories, process flows, and use cases to support solution design.
Support the design of solutions that closely align with business goals and requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, design decisions, and delivery artifacts within the project repository.
Collaborate with vendors, IT, testing, business stakeholders, and project management teams to ensure solutions are built according to exact specifications.
Partner with the testing team to ensure test cases and scenarios accurately reflect business requirements.
Manage scope changes through formal change control processes, assessing impacts on timelines, costs, and resources.
Drive the timely delivery of all solution components.
Build strong working relationships with internal business stakeholders, IT, support functions, and external vendors.
Provide clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.
Facilitate seamless communication between vendors, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve delivery issues efficiently.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in business analysis or solution delivery within the financial services or banking sectors, with a proven background in asset servicing.
Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end solution delivery lifecycles using waterfall or hybrid methodologies, from requirements gathering through to implementation.
Familiarity with project and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of structured business analysis techniques and SDLC processes.
Practical knowledge of third-party vendor management processes.
Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
Experience in reviewing technical specifications and solution designs.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
Fluent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
