Business Analyst – Banking Technology & Operations
Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 per month

Contract Duration: 12 Months
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a banking technology and operations team supporting business applications, projects and system enhancements.
This is a great opportunity for a BA who enjoys working closely with business users, technology teams and project stakeholders, with exposure to requirements gathering, impact assessment, data flows, solution design and UAT management.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage business application information for the assigned business vertical, including system interfaces, data content, data flows and information maintained within applications.
Provide day-to-day support and guidance to business users, helping them resolve queries and make better use of systems.
Understand project scope and proposed changes, and support the Project Manager with impact assessments across systems and business processes.
For impacted projects, ensure proposed designs and solutions are aligned with the organisation’s strategic data flow and architecture direction.
Gather, consolidate and rationalise business requirements from multiple stakeholders and facilitate walkthroughs with the project team.
Partner closely with business and technology teams during the solutioning process, ensuring solutions are scalable, standardised and designed with operational efficiency in mind.
Consider opportunities for process optimisation, reduced manual operations and front-end configuration when developing business solutions.
Assess and recommend appropriate testing strategies, test scenarios and sign-off criteria, obtaining agreement from key stakeholders.
Take ownership of UAT management, including UAT timelines, batch runs/re-runs, coordination with testers and tracking of testing results.
Prepare and maintain clear documentation covering data flows, solution design, business requirements and testing approaches in accordance with established templates and governance standards.
What We’re Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Banking or a related discipline.
Experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Project Analyst or similar role, preferably within banking or financial services.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and business process analysis.
Good understanding of system interfaces, data flows and application-level information.
Experience supporting UAT / testing activities, including test planning, execution tracking and defect/result management.
Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders.
Analytical and structured approach to impact assessment and solutioning.
Comfortable working in a project and governance-driven environment.
Banking or financial services experience will be an advantage.
