Business Analyst – Business Requirements Analysis
Salary: ₱60,000 – ₱90,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for a Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business requirements, system functionality, and technical teams. In this role, you will analyze existing systems, code, and documentation to understand system behavior and translate your findings into clear and structured System Requirement Specifications (SRS). You will also be involved in Test Suite creation, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect analysis, and client coordination to ensure that system functionality meets business requirements.
Key responsibilities
Analyze existing system behavior, functionalities, workflows, code, and documentation.
Translate findings into clear and structured System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
Conduct requirements workshops and discussions with clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements and system behavior are properly understood.
Create Test Suites and test scenarios based on documented requirements.
Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and validate system behavior against expected results.
Investigate, analyze, and document defects identified during testing.
Log defects and work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues.
Assist business users during UAT by explaining test scenarios and expected system behavior.
Coordinate with developers to resolve issues identified during UAT.
About you
Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Experience in requirements gathering, system analysis, and documentation.
Hands-on experience creating System Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Test Suites.
Experience with System Integration Testing (SIT) and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong communication and client management skills.
Ability to analyze system behavior and translate technical findings into clear documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requirements and testing activities.
Basic knowledge of Java, particularly for understanding system logic and troubleshooting.
