Business Analyst (Calypso)
Summary
Business Analyst on the Calypso back-office platform, managing enhancements, monthly release cycles, and L3 application support for a financial institution in Singapore.
Position: This role aims to develop on the Calypso back-office package, in project mode as well as maintenance, and to support the “run the bank” function.
Main Responsibilities
Build & change management
- Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
- Propose solutions in collaboration with Architects.
- Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests.
- Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.
Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)
- Application support, level 3 (expert).
- Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.
Qualifications and Profile
- Experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
- Knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Task, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
- Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
- Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
