Business Analyst (CO-OP Fall to Spring)

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting business and user requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, and other project documentation.
- Work with product, development, and quality assurance teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Help create low-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and process diagrams to support solution design.
- Participate in application testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, and
- validation of business requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify product improvements, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and documenting product issues while collaborating with technical teams on potential solutions.
- Support stakeholder communication by tracking requirements, updates, and project activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, feature prioritization discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Interest in product management, business analysis, enterprise software, and technology solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, or software development concepts is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and documentation techniques.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP technologies, cloud applications, or enterprise software is considered an asset but not required.
