1. Job Purpose

We are looking for a result-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Conceptia Marine Division. The candidate will be responsible for business data analysis, management reporting, dashboard development, project coordination and project performance monitoring.

The role involves working closely with internal departments, project managers and other stakeholders to monitor project progress, track deliverables, analyse performance and provide timely information to management for effective decision-making.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Business Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, consolidate and analyse business and operational data from various sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, gaps and opportunities for business improvement.
• Analyse business performance against defined targets and KPIs.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports, management reports and performance dashboards.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
• Automate routine reporting processes wherever possible.

B. Project Coordination & Monitoring

• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams and other stakeholders to monitor project progress.
• Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables and completion status.
• Follow up with respective project teams to obtain periodic project updates.
• Maintain project trackers and prepare project status reports for management review.
• Identify project delays, bottlenecks and deviations from planned schedules and escalate them to the concerned stakeholders.
• Coordinate project review meetings, prepare meeting agendas and document minutes of meetings and action points.
• Follow up on pending action items to ensure timely closure.
• Assist in monitoring resource utilisation, project progress and overall project performance.
• Ensure timely communication and coordination between relevant departments for smooth project execution.

C. Business Performance Monitoring

• Monitor business performance, project progress and operational efficiency.
• Analyse deviations from planned targets and highlight areas requiring management attention.
• Assist in developing performance indicators and reporting frameworks.
• Provide data-driven insights to support business planning and decision-making.

D. Data Management & Stakeholder Coordination

• Gather business and reporting requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with various departments to collect and validate relevant data.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of business reports and project records.
• Maintain proper documentation of reports, dashboards, project trackers and analysis.

E. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, project monitoring and business analysis processes.
• Recommend improvements based on data findings.
• Support management in business planning, forecasting and operational decision-making.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and advanced formulas.
• Understanding of data analysis, data visualisation and MIS reporting.
• Good project coordination, monitoring and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prepare project trackers, status reports and management dashboards.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Knowledge of MS Project or other project management tools will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts will be an added advantage.

4. Educational Qualification & Experience

• Any Bachelor's Degree.
• 35 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, MIS Reporting, Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
• Practical experience in developing dashboards, analysing business data and coordinating projects is desirable.

5. Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates from Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, MIS, Data Analytics or Project Coordination backgrounds.
• Experience in preparing management dashboards and project performance reports.
• Ability to independently manage project trackers, coordinate with stakeholders and follow up on deliverables.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, marine or project-based organisations will be an added advantage.

Important: This position is primarily focused on Business Analysis, MIS Reporting and Project Coordination. Candidates primarily working as Software Developers, Software Engineers, Full Stack Developers, Application Developers or Programmers are not required.

6. Compensation & Benefits

• Annual CTC: 5.00 6.00 LPA, depending on experience and suitability.
• Five-day working week (Monday to Friday).
