Business Analyst
Summary
On-site Business Analyst in Gurugram gathering and documenting requirements from clients and stakeholders into BRDs/FRDs, user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria, then supporting delivery with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering. Focus is on Private Equity, Private Credit, and Venture Capital customers across APAC, Africa, UK, EU, and US time zones.
Job Purpose
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders, translating them into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, user journeys, and supporting wireframes. Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, and stakeholder teams to define solution workflows, validate requirements, support delivery through the development lifecycle, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solutioning
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders, translating them into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, acceptance criteria, user journeys and supporting wireframes to enable effective product development and implementation
- Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to define solution workflows, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, clarifying requirements, managing scope, and supporting delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct gap analysis, process reviews, and impact assessments to identify improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
- Validate delivered functionality through testing and UAT, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand evolving business, regulatory, and reporting needs within Private Equity, Private Credit, and Venture Capital domains
- Work with customers across different time zones - APAC, Africa, UK, EU and US
Skills & Competencies
- 1 - 4 years of relevant experience in either Software/SaaS Sales, IT Project Implementation, Business Analyst preferably in Fintech, or servicing Private Equity/Venture Capital funds or Banking Domain
- Effective communication skills, logical and analytical skills
- Ability to listen and document real & perceived customer needs.
Education: BTech, MBA or BCom (Finance Background must).
