Business Analyst cum Developer (JIRA)
Summary
Own and support a custom JIRA Data Center application, handling technical operations like upgrades, ScriptRunner/Groovy scripting, REST API integrations, and database tuning, while also gathering requirements and managing stakeholders and SLAs.
Application Ownership:
- Sole Support Engineer for a custom JIRA Data Center application
- Manage the full Operations and Maintenance lifecycle from day-to-day service ticketing management to troubleshooting scripts and deployment planning
Technical Operations:
- Administer JIRA Data Center Infrastructure including upgrades, configuration, and plugin management (ScriptRunner/Groovy Language)
- Maintain SSL/HTTPS infrastructure and led migration transitions where necessary
- Debug and maintain REST API integrations between JIRA and external systems
- Resolve database-level issues including idling connection management and performance tuning
Product & Systems:
- Understand the comprehensive JIRA Data Center product and quick to recommend solutions whenever prompted.
- Have experience in engaging in requirements gathering and business analysis skillsets, to turn requirements into features
- Configure JIRA Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) and resolve cross-project dependency gaps within JIRA Data Center
Support & Stakeholder Management:
- Own the SLA Compliance and management, ticket triage, and resolution across all severity tiers
- Serve as primary POC between engineer team and business stakeholders
- Experience in stakeholder management is necessary
