As a Business Analyst
at Fixed Solutions, you'll play a vital role in bridging the gap between
business needs and technical solutions within IT software project implementations
for our customers. You will lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of
projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, technical feasibility,
and budget constraints, ultimately driving successful software implementations
and delivering value to our customers. You will achieve this by eliciting,
analyzing, and documenting business requirements, designing and re-engineering
business processes, and collaborating closely with technology teams to deliver
effective software solutions.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of customer
software implementation projects, from feasibility assessment,
requirements gathering, and budget planning to execution,
post-implementation review, and continuous improvement.
- Produce, analyze, and document business
requirements through conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops,
and document analysis with our customers. Translate these needs into clear
and concise user stories, use cases, and business process models.
- Design and re-engineer business
processes to optimize customer operations and improve efficiency,
leveraging best practices and industry standards within the context of the
implemented software.
- Produce high-quality Business Requirements
Documents (BRDs) and Software Specifications that effectively
communicate customer needs to technology teams, ensuring clear
understanding and alignment.
- Create and maintain various Business
Analysis artifacts, including process flows, data dictionaries,
wireframes, and user acceptance criteria, to support project delivery and
ensure comprehensive documentation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between
customers and internal technology departments, providing technical
expertise and guidance on the feasibility of proposed solutions and
identifying quick wins.
- Collaborate with technology teams and
vendors to explore and integrate new features, technologies, and
products that enhance software capabilities and drive value for our
customers.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding
of the competitive landscape and industry best practices, providing
recommendations to enhance software offerings and implementation
strategies.
- Ensure optimal customer experience by
validating implemented solutions against customer needs and journeys,
identifying areas for improvement, and driving enhancements across
different projects. This includes conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
with customers to ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver
a seamless experience.
- Proactively communicate project status and
updates to stakeholders (both internal and customer-facing), ensuring
transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized
university, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Business
Administration, or a related field.
Skills and
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business
Analyst in IT software project implementations, preferably with experience
serving external customers.
- Proven experience in requirements
gathering, business process design and re-engineering, and producing BRDs
and software specifications within a software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in creating various Business
Analysis artifacts, such as process flows, data dictionaries, and
wireframes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g.,
SQL, Excel, Tableau) and experience with relevant software development
methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with different software
applications and technologies commonly used in business environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex
business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective
solutions using technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal,
and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical audiences and manage customer expectations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and
project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a
multicultural environment and under pressure.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
