Business Analyst Data (h/f)

Summary

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in the program, serving as a pivotal link between IT, business users, and project stakeholders. The primary goal of this role is to streamline data processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for effective decision-making across various departments in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analyze documentation to gather requirements from business users.

• Break down complex processes and systems into manageable components to simplify implementation for developers.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes and drive ongoing improvements.

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in solutions.

• Write functional specifications, ensuring a unified understanding of outcomes with the development team.

• Document functional processes thoroughly.

• Define and assist in the activation/transition to deployed solutions, including training plans and user support.

• Provide effective and timely communication to all relevant teams.

• Prepare regular progress reports for the project management team.

• Support continuous improvement of services and applications by identifying bugs and proposing solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in IT, particularly with data projects.

• Familiarity with data architecture and data modeling (e.g., star schema).

• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas (e.g., IF).

• Excellent analytical abilities, including the capability to analyze dashboards and trends.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience and an engineering degree.

• Fluent in spoken English.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in French.

• Experience with data governance frameworks.

• Familiarity with tools used for data quality and reporting
