When a customer orders a product, the "Estimated Delivery Date" (EDD) isn't just a number, it’s a commitment. As our Business Analyst for Delivery Promise, you will own the data engine driving EDD precision and End-to-End (E2E) cycle time.
We are seeking a Business Analyst, Delivery Promise to join our Fulfillment Excellence Team. This role focuses on maintaining and improving our Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) accuracy and the End-to-End (E2E) Total Cycle Time data infrastructure.
By combining data analytics with project management, the candidate will identify the root causes of operational delays and translate data insights into cross-functional corrective measures. This position impacts delivery reliability, customer satisfaction, and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
EDD Model Development & Implementation: Design, build, test, and deploy predictive EDD models (focusing on optimizing protection buffers) across delivery regions. Collaborate with Data Science, Logistics, and IT teams to integrate these models into existing systems and refine them based on operational feedback.
Performance Reporting & Analysis: Monitor delivery performance metrics, specifically EDD accuracy and E2E Total Cycle Time. Utilize SQL, Excel, and Power BI to build dashboards, conduct trend analyses, and perform root-cause bucketization to categorize delivery delays.
Process Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to identify operational inefficiencies. Design and implement solutions to improve delivery reliability and align cycle-time performance with business objectives.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as the point of contact for EDD and cycle-time performance. Translate data into business insights and collaborate with cross functional teams (Vendor Operations, Warehouse teams, Last Mile transportation) to manage end-to-end supply chain impacts.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a data analytics role, preferably within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data extraction, manipulation, and visualization.
Analytical Capabilities: Experience in KPI monitoring, root-cause analysis, and data-driven process optimization.
Project Management: Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives across multiple departments.
Advanced Tech: Familiarity with advanced data ecosystems, including knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R), exposure to ML orchestration, or experience operating in cloud data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is nice to have.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory; German, Czech, Polish, or Russian is nice to have.
