Business Analyst
Summary
Senior Business Analyst serving as a conduit between stakeholders and developers for an Austin-based client. The role involves gathering requirements, system design with mockups, and managing the full SDLC using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira while working remotely within Texas.
We are seeking a Business Analyst to work remotely from anywhere in Texas on multiple projects at the same time supporting the mission of our Austin, Texas client. This position performs advanced, senior-level business analysis work and serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. This position may support more than one project or be assigned to special projects at any time. This BA will be involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements, including requirements for enhancements post-implementation.

5 Deriving requirements from interviews with customers and creating system requirements documents
5 System Analysis and Design (including mockups and/or wireframes)
5 Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
5 Business Process Reengineering
4 Development of user stories and use cases
Preferred
3 Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills
2 Business Process Development
2 Experience with Azure DevOps or Modern Requirements
1 Experience with Atlassian Jira
1 Prior experience or familiarity with TEA applications and programs
1 Prior employment at a Texas public school district
