A typical day in this role:
Develop detailed use cases, process flows, and functional specifications to support project planning and implementation.
Assist senior team members in executing projects, including prioritization, and progress tracking.
Collaborate with data teams to review and digest our financial backbone data inventory, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Generate insights from financial data analyses to inform strategic decisions, product roadmaps, and enhancements to our web streaming portal.
Participate in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, user story refinement, and testing
About you:
Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Business, Finance, Information System or other related disciplines
Understanding of stock market dynamics and financial data structures
Experience in requirements gathering techniques, use case development, and tools like Jira
Experience working with data teams on data inventory management, classification, and insight generation; familiarity with data modeling, or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, AWS Athena) is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Business Analyst.
