Business Analyst (Financial Institution)

Key Responsibilities:

· Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

· Develop user stories, process flows and use cases to support solution design.

· Support the design of solutions that align with business requirements.

· Analyse, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.

· Maintain accurate documentation of requirements, design decisions, and delivery artifacts in the project repository.

· Collaborate with vendors, IT, testing, business stakeholders and project management teams to ensure solutions are built according to specifications.

· Partner with the Testing Team to ensure test cases and scenarios accurately reflect business requirements.

· Build strong working relationships with internal business stakeholders, IT, support functions and vendors.

· Provide clear and concise communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

· At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis or Solution Delivery within the financial services or banking industries, with proven experience in Asset Servicing.

· Proven experience in managing end-to-end solution delivery lifecycles using Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, from requirements gathering to implementation.

· Familiarity with project management and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.

· Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

· Strong understanding of structured business analysis techniques and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.

· Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
