Business Analyst (Financial Services)
Summary
Business Analyst in financial services gathers requirements, documents processes, and supports solution delivery for business applications, using SQL and stakeholder collaboration.
We are looking for a Business Analyst with around 3 years of experience to support the delivery of business application solutions. You will work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, improve business processes, support testing, and ensure successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct discussions and workshops with business stakeholders
- Prepare user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with developers, architects, testers, and product owners during project delivery
- Support SIT/UAT testing, issue resolution, and implementation activities
- Perform SQL queries and data analysis to validate business requirements and investigate issues
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with team standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline
- Around 3 years of Business Analyst experience
- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Investment, Credit, or Insurance is preferred
- Strong experience in business requirements gathering and documentation
- Good SQL skills and data analysis experience
- Ability to create process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work effectively with both business and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience
- Experience with SaaS or third-party applications
- Testing (SIT/UAT) and implementation support experience
- Knowledge of Excel and process mapping tools
- BA, Agile, or Project Management certifications
