About the role

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Business Analyst to support finance, inventory, and operational improvement projects across the business.

You'll work on a range of initiatives, partnering with business teams to understand requirements, map and simplify processes, and define the business rules that shape practical solutions.

This is a role for a BA who knows finance and inventory systems deeply and can lead workshops independently, build strong stakeholder relationships, and work closely with developers from requirements through to testing and implementation.

What you'll be doing

• Work with business teams to understand requirements and map current processes

• Simplify and streamline finance and inventory processes

• Define business rules and prepare user stories and acceptance criteria

• Inform build-versus-buy decisions and identify automation opportunities

• Stay involved through testing and implementation

• Lead workshops independently and build strong stakeholder relationships

• Work closely with developers to deliver solutions

What you'll bring

• Strong experience in finance and inventory systems and processes — a key requirement

• Understanding of purchasing, stock movements, costing, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial controls

• Proven experience as a hands-on BA who can lead workshops and manage stakeholders

• Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Confidence working closely with developers and technical teams

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Miro is desirable
