Business Analyst
Summary:
Report to IT Application Manager
To determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
To monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
Roles and Responsibilities:
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Working closely with users, vendor, and managerial staff, serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users and vendor
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Performing IT testing and user acceptance testing.
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project tasks.
Review and continuously improve IT support performance.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes
Presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver slides.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organization
Advanced technical skills, eg SQL
Requirements:
Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Business or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
Advantage if have agricultural / financial / Supply Chain domain knowledge
Willing to travel across East & West Malaysia and Indonesia (30%- medium ) during project implementation period
