SUMMARY
Reporting into the VP of Commercial Sales and Strategy, the Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing business processes, and bridging gaps between departments. This role focuses on stabilizing systems as part of ongoing operations, supporting end users, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities. The position is hands-on and operationally focused.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
BUSINESS SUPPORT
Provide day-to-day application support for enterprise and project delivery systems.
Act as a first point of contact for business users ongoing.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to cost management, progress tracking, time capture, forecasting, and change workflows.
Distinguish between user, process, data, and system issues and escalate appropriately.
Prioritize issues based on business impact and operational urgency.
Coordinate with IT teams, system vendors, and integration partners for issue resolution.
Validate fixes and communicate resolutions back to users.
Support onboarding of new projects and new users onto business systems.
PROCESS CONSISTENCY & GOVERNANCE
Reinforce standardized business processes and consistent system usage across the organization.
Identify recurring issues, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure adherence to approved processes, controls, and governance standards.
Support audits, reporting cycles, month-end activities, and data quality checks.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Capture enhancement requests and improvement ideas from the business.
Support minor system changes within approved governance frameworks.
Support business-side validation of system integrations and data flows.
Assist with release coordination, regression testing, and communication of system updates.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
Experience in change management and continuous improvement
