Job Title: Business Analyst General Insurance

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the General Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have exposure to insurance business processes and experience across the Health, Motor, or Travel Insurance journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, understand and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into clear functional requirements / user stories.
• Work closely with business, product and technology teams to understand insurance requirements.
• Understand and document end-to-end General Insurance processes.
• Analyze customer journeys across Health / Motor / Travel Insurance.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows and requirement documentation.
• Identify gaps, dependencies and process improvements.
• Coordinate with development and testing teams for requirement clarification.
• Support UAT, functional testing and defect clarification.
• Participate in stakeholder discussions, requirement walkthroughs and project meetings.

Must-Have Skills

• 3.1–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong exposure to the General Insurance domain.
• Experience in at least one insurance journey: Health Insurance / Motor Insurance / Travel Insurance.
• Good understanding of insurance business processes and customer journeys.
• Strong Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis and Documentation skills.
• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories and Process Flows.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional Business, Product, Development and QA teams.

Good to Have

• Experience in Insurance/InsurTech projects.
• Knowledge of insurance policy lifecycle, quotations, issuance, renewals, endorsements and claims.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio or similar.
