The Commercial group is seeking Entry-Level Business Analysts to join the team in Houston, TX. This position is designed to give recent college graduates broad exposure to Marathon’s Commercial Organization and its coast-to-coast fuel supply network in a supported, team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day system administration support for business unit-specific systems, including troubleshooting issues
Collaborates with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements
Conducts thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvements
Collects and analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
Creates and maintains reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators
Develops process maps and workflow diagrams to illustrate current and future states of business processes; identifies bottlenecks and areas for optimization within existing workflows
Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and propose effective and efficient solutions
Provides input and conducts testing for the development and implementation of new systems or process enhancements
Communicates to internal stakeholders and trains end-users on new systems or process enhancements
Ensures business needs are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders
Ensures implemented solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
Monitors industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Serves as business liaison for internal and external audits
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience required
