Job Description
Vylor has an exciting opportunity for a Engineering or Business Intern based, based in Johnston, Iowa to apply analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, real-world business environment. Do you enjoy analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions? Are you excited by the prospect of transforming information into actionable insights? If so, this is the opportunity for you. This position requires the ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience in business analysis practices, and contribute to building new capabilities that will last long past your intern experience. From day one, you will be assigned projects focused on analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting data-driven decision-making to solve real-life problems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for research and operational projects.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency and excellence.
- Contribute to the documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for business analysis and process improvement.
Job Qualification
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, a commitment to transparency, and a passion for creating value for customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse technologies and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Priority will be given to candidates with a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- A minimum requirement for this US-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis. Applicants who do not indicate that they have the necessary permanent work authorization will not be considered for this US-based position.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Business or Engineering field.
- Experience with MS Office Products and Smartsheet’s.
