Project
The project focuses on strengthening ICT Business Continuity Planning (ICT BCP) and Operational Resilience within a regulated financial services environment. It involves developing continuity frameworks, governance processes, disruption scenarios, and testing methodologies to ensure compliance with DORA requirements and enhance organizational resilience to ICT disruptions.
Responsibilities you'll have
Support the identification and definition of ICT disruption scenarios and map them to relevant Critical Important Functions (CIFs)
Contribute to the development of the ICT Business Continuity Planning (ICT BCP) framework and templates and supporting documentation
Assist in designing and implementing ICT BCP testing methodologies based on Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Recovery (BCCM&R) standards
Plan, facilitate, and coordinate workshops with key stakeholders to develop and maintain ICT Business Continuity Plans
Monitor and track actions arising from meetings, coordinate follow-up activities, and provide timely updates to the Delivery Lead for project reporting purposes
Collaborate closely with the DORA Programme and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of ICT BCP scope, content, and regulatory requirements
Support the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ICT BCP governance documentation and lifecycle management processes
Prepare project documentation, presentations, status reports, and other delivery materials required throughout the project lifecycle
Engage with multiple business and technology teams to gather requirements, consolidate inputs, and ensure consistent implementation of ICT continuity standards
Expected competences and knowledge
1–3 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Business Continuity Planning, or Operational Resilience initiatives
Good understanding of ICT Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, and Crisis Management frameworks
Strong knowledge of DORA and other relevant regulatory requirements related to ICT resilience within the Financial Services Industry (FSI)
Previous hands-on experience working on Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Resilience projects in a financial services environment
Experience creating and maintaining frameworks, policies, procedures, governance documentation, and operational processes
Ability to prepare high-quality project documentation, presentations, reports, and stakeholder-facing materials
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and coordinate activities across multiple teams
Experience working in complex projects with multiple workstreams, deliverables, and dependencies
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to gather and rationalize input from various stakeholders and translate requirements into practical solutions
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working in dynamic and cross-functional environments
