Business Analyst - Life Insurance System

Role Overview :

Seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to manage end-to-end product launch system setup activities, ensure regulatory alignment, and translate insurance product specifications into actionable IT system requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

System Setup & Integration :

- Analyze product specifications and translate them into actionable system requirements for smooth rollout on core insurance platforms.

Business Analysis & Documentation :

- Perform requirement gathering, gap analysis, and feasibility studies.

- Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), analyze Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), map business process flows, and oversee UAT test scenarios and test cases.

Cross-Functional Coordination :

- Act as a central liaison across Operations, Finance, Actuaries, Product Management, and IT teams to facilitate communication and secure official sign-offs for BRDs, FSDs, and UAT.

Regulatory Compliance :

- Ensure all system setups strictly comply with IRDAI regulatory guidelines and product contract specifications.

Desired Profile :

- Experience : 4 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the life insurance industry.

- Core Systems : Hands-on experience with core insurance platforms like LifeAsia or Ingenium.

- Education : BE / BSc IT + MBA preferred.

- Competencies : Strong stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to handle tight deadlines.
