ABOUT THE JOB

Core purpose (60% role) ​

• Provide people leadership for the BA team in Vietnam, creating a clear, inclusive and high-performing team environment.​
• Coach, mentor and support BAs to build capability, confidence and effectiveness in their roles, aligned to career pathways and standards set by the Centre of Excellence (CoE).​
• Support the delivery and embedding of the BA capability roadmap, noting the CoE owns and drives the strategic roadmap for the BA cohort.​
• Provide BA leadership and hands-on BA support across TRR, Big Rocks and Enterprise Programs initiatives.​
• Partner with Product Owners and delivery leaders to refine backlogs through prioritisation, estimation and decision making.​
• Elaborate and decompose themes into epics, features, user stories, solution options, dependencies and sequencing.​
• Support Developers, Analysts and Quality Engineers to understand requirements so they can deliver on their commitments.​
• Live our PEAK and Distinctive Leadership values and use established processes and techniques to lead your team effectively.​

Additional purpose (40% role)​​

• As a seasoned BA professional, provide SME consultancy, practical guidance and delivery support across complex initiatives.​
• Operate as a Senior BA resource, providing hands-on support and leadership across gathering and grooming requirements into epics, features, and user stories, developing process models, business rules, target operating models, workflows, reporting, business impact assessments, and ensure solutions deliver maximum value.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach and manage BAs to achieve business outcomes and build capability through day-to-day people leadership.​
• Support the delivery and embedding of the BA capability roadmap, providing input and feedback to the CoE while the CoE owns and drives the strategic roadmap.​
• Ensure squads and initiatives are enabled with BA capability where required and aligned to overall Domain priorities.​
• Provide BA leadership and hands-on BA delivery support across TRR, Big Rocks and Enterprise Programs initiatives.​
• Develop and lead a high-performing, engaged and inclusive BA team.​
• Capture, analyse and groom requirements into epics, features, user stories and dependencies in collaboration with squads and delivery stakeholders.​
• Perform analysis, including scenario, policy, customer, data, gap and change analysis, to articulate business needs and solution requirements.​
• Develop process models, data models, business rules, target operating models, workflows, reporting and other required BA outputs.​
• Work with Product Owners to elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements, with a strong focus on value delivery.​
• Lead workshops and coach others in strong BA practices aligned to CoE standards.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Experience​

• Ability to coach and lead BAs to achieve business outcomes ​
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement ​
• In-depth understanding of Financial Products, processes and systems ​
• Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem solving and analysis ​
• Extensive experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with HCD ​
  techniques. ​
• Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams and work with ​
  the Product Owner in developing it into a shaped backloq of key features, user stories ​
  and goals for individual sprints ​
• Comfortable playing a leadership role, including leading workshops, in a cross ​
  functional business and IT team through the discovery, development and operational ​
  usage stages of change. ​
• Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content ​
• Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships ​
• Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making ​
• 10 years’ previous experience as a Business Analyst in a leadership position
