Business Analyst

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead projects with notable risk and complexity; develop the overarching strategy for project execution and resource allocation.
Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements to recommend long-term system alternatives and architectural enhancements.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; anticipate objections and persuade senior executives to adopt new strategic points of view.
Utilize conceptual and innovative thinking to solve unique problems that impact customer and operational objectives across the division.
Proactively monitor and anticipate internal/external business challenges, including vendor issues and regulatory changes, to institute preventive process improvements.
Formulate and define system scope and objectives through high-level research and a deep understanding of industry-standard requirements.
Lead and facilitate workshops with HR stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize complex business requirements for HR systems and processes, with a particular focus on Oracle ERP HR modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, Talent Management).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
8+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or a related technical role.
Experience in system design, requirements gathering, and SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
Experience with Oracle ERP HR modules (e.g., Oracle EBS HRMS, Oracle Cloud HCM).
Experience with project management methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated understanding of United States Air Force lifecycles
Proven experience in full lifecycle implementations of Oracle ERP HR modules.
Strong understanding of HR business processes (e.g., hire to retire, payroll, time & labor, benefits administration, talent acquisition, performance management).
Experience with data migration, data integrity, and reporting within Oracle ERP.
Proficiency in creating process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
Experience with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Frequently communicate with co-workers and management to exchange accurate information.
