Business Analyst
Marcus & Millichap’s predominant Arizona Multifamily Investment Sales Team, David-Gebing Multifamily, is seeking a Full-Time Business Analyst to support its private client investment transactions. The Analyst will receive a wide range of experience as they provide real-time support for existing transactions, assist on marketing collateral development, research, and execution of proposals for transaction and relationship building services.
The base hourly range for this role is $26 - $28 (per year/per hour). Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted salary ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. These ranges may not reflect potential compensation for positions based in other states or regions.
Job Description
The Business Analyst will provide financial and analytical support services, which will include performing market research and analyzing comparable properties and sales trends. The chosen candidate will need strong writing skills, with the ability to translate financial and valuation concepts, into a compelling narrative . Professionalism and attention to detail are musts. The Analyst will be a resourceful contributor to the team, who can work independently, operate in a fast paced environment, take direction, and multi-task under tight deadlines. Excellent communication is essential to this role.
Responsibilities:
- Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to manage schedules and deadlines for multiple projects, while maintaining clear communication to teammates.
- Create, maintain and update on-market and in-escrow data, as well as rent and sale comparable analyses
- Assist in outlining, creating, and presenting of broker analyses using Adobe InDesign. Previous InDesign experience not required, however must be comfortable using new technology.
- Conduct market research to help position broker analyses based on market trends, submarket fundamentals, and economic forecasting
- Prepare quarterly reports, strategic plans and comparable studies
Prerequisites:
- Undergraduate degree with an emphasis in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
- Arizona resident
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
- High degree of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 2-4 years (Preferred)
- Commercial real estate: 1 year (Preferred)
- InDesign: 1-2 years (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred, Not Required)
