How did it all start?
Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank) in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform, Tunaiku.

About the Position:
As a part of the MSME team as a Business Analyst (Lead or Senior) will work closely with the top management team to identify, analyze, and solve complex business problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting strategic initiatives, identifying process improvements, and providing valuable insights to improve business performance
What Will You Do:
- Conduct business matching analysis to identify the alignment between user needs/problems and business solutions developed in collaboration with the Product team and other relevant functions.
- Conduct user research to identify insights, pain points, and relevant data points that support business benefits and decision-making.
- Translate research findings and user insights into clear business proposals, business requirements, and problem statements, and collaborate with the Product team throughout the solution-building process.
- Support KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) validation analysis for new users/customers in accordance with applicable SOPs and technical guidelines (juknis).
- Develop data-driven recommendations to support business decisions and solution development.
- Support project/initiative documentation and communicate progress, findings, and key updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support for project-related activities and other business administration needs as required.
What You Need To Have:
- Strong technical capabilities in data processing and analysis using SQL, Excel, and/or other analytical tools.
- Background or experience in business analysis, user research, data analysis, computer science, or a related field.
- Ability to understand user needs and translate them into clear business problems, requirements, and actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, particularly with Product teams and other stakeholders.
- High level of initiative, curiosity, and willingness to explore and understand business and user problems.
- Strong discipline, ownership, and reliability in completing assigned tasks and delivering results.
- Willingness and ability to learn KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYB (Know Your Business) validation processes in accordance with applicable SOPs and technical guidelines.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI-assisted development and/or vibe coding approaches to build simple proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for validating business formulas, logic, or processes is highly preferred.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with digital banking, fintech, or MSME lending environments.
- Familiarity with KYB (Know Your Business), business customer onboarding, or customer validation processes.
- Demonstrated experience in independently building digital tools, solutions, or capabilities to improve business processes.
- Experience conducting user research and translating user insights into business or product solutions.
