Business Analyst, Operational Excellence

Overview:

The Operational Excellence Team of the Operations Department aims to enhance operational efficiency and drive digital innovation and transformation in operations workflows to support business growth and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. The team collaborates with key stakeholders across Operations, Information Technology and Business units to drive strategic and tactical process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in projects within the Operations Department, including system enhancement (e.g. Automation, AI integration) and process improvement.

• Gather and analyze requirements from internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system solutions, ensuring successful adoption.

• Conduct sample checks and inspections of operational activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and implement controls/risk mitigation strategies as needed.

• Provide clear stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.

• Maintain comprehensive and traceable project documentation, including business requirements, test plans, issue logs and implementation strategies.

• Provide training and support to end-users on adaptation to new systems and processes.

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Computer Science or relevant disciplines.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, AI automation, and transformation initiatives in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in banking operations is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify actionable improvements.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
