For our Client from the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Business Analyst who will act as a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will play a key role in bridging business and technology teams while driving process optimization, system integration, and innovation within a highly regulated environment.
What you will do:
Interview business stakeholders, domain leads, and system owners to identify business opportunities, assess their value, dependencies, and impact, and support business case development.
Analyze, design, and document business processes, user stories, and functional requirements related to Emerson PKM and integrations across MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM, and reporting solutions, ensuring GxP compliance and data interoperability.
Create functional specifications, architecture decision records, and technical documentation for system configurations, integration solutions, and reporting requirements.
Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams, ensuring a common understanding of business processes, data flows, system capabilities, and solution architecture.
Identify and support the implementation of Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
What we're looking for:
Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems and product recipe design, including exposure to solutions such as MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM, ELN, DeltaV, or SAP S/4HANA, as well as system integration projects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements and process documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience working in cross-functional, global environments and driving productive discussions toward successful outcomes.
Fluent English and good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with availability to collaborate during the 3:00 PM–7:00 PM CET overlap window with EU and US teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, combined with 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Architect, or Consultant within the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards and enterprise integration concepts.
Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
Understanding of SQL databases, reporting systems, and data interoperability principles.
Experience in highly regulated environments, including pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations.
Exposure to global or multi-site manufacturing integration programs and cross-domain architecture initiatives.
