Business Analyst – Plant & Supply Chain Systems

Job Overview

PTT Digital Solutions is an Information Technology and Innovation Service Provider supporting companies within the PTT Group.

We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to take direct ownership of business analysis activities for systems supporting Plant, Pipeline, Production, Logistics, and Supply Chain Operations.

This role works closely with business users, engineers, developers, and technical teams to understand operational processes, translate business needs into system requirements, and drive solutions from Requirement Gathering through Testing, Go-live, and Post-implementation Support.

Job Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end Business Analysis activities for assigned systems and projects.

• Work directly with business users, plant operations teams, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.

• Analyze As-is processes, identify pain points and gaps, and design practical To-be processes and system solutions.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and system requirements.

• Prepare key BA deliverables such as BRD, Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Flows, Acceptance Criteria, Data Mapping, and Integration Requirements.

• Analyze business processes related to Production, Manufacturing, Planning, Material Management, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, Plant Maintenance, and related operations.

• Analyze system integrations, interfaces, and data flows between plant systems and enterprise applications such as ERP, SAP, and other internal/external systems.

• Work closely with developers and technical teams to clarify business rules, system behavior, data requirements, and integration requirements.

• Prepare and support SIT, UAT, Test Cases, Defect Management, and Requirement Traceability.

• Perform Impact Analysis for system enhancements, Change Requests, new requirements, and production issues.

• Support implementation activities including Go-live preparation, deployment coordination, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.

• Ensure delivered solutions are practical, technically feasible, and aligned with actual Plant, Production, Pipeline, Engineering, and Supply Chain operations.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.

• At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Consultant, or related role.

• Direct experience with IT systems or projects related to Manufacturing, Plant, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain operations is required.

• Strong understanding of at least one of the following areas: Production, Production Planning, Material Management, Warehouse & Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations.

• Able to independently perform Requirement Gathering, Process Analysis, Functional Analysis, Documentation, Testing, and Implementation Support.

• Experience with ERP, SAP, MES, WMS, TMS, or Manufacturing-related systems is highly preferred.

• Knowledge or experience in System Integration, API, Interface, Data Mapping, or Data Flow Analysis is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work effectively with both business users and technical teams and translate business needs into clear system requirements.

• Good command of English with TOEIC 550 or equivalent.
