Business Analyst - Process Improvement (Fleet software)
Summary
Business Analyst role in Stevenage on a major systems transformation programme migrating a fleet/hire operation from Insphire to Key2 software. Day to day: mapping as-is and to-be processes, challenging existing ways of working, and ensuring the new system delivers genuine efficiency rather than replicating old processes.
Your new role
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major systems and operational transformation programme, supporting the move from Insphire to Key2.This isn't just a requirements-gathering BA role. We need someone who can get under the skin of how the business operates, challenge existing processes and ensure the new system delivers genuine efficiency rather than simply recreating old ways of working.
What you'll be doing
Mapping as-is and to-be processes
Assessing the operational impact of moving from Insphire to Key2
Analysing process steps, transaction times, manual effort and resource impact
Identifying bottlenecks, duplication and opportunities for automation
Applying Lean / continuous improvement principles
Working with operational teams, IT and external suppliers
Creating a prioritised roadmap of quick wins and longer-term improvements
Presenting clear recommendations to senior stakeholders
What we're looking forStrong Business Analysis and process mapping experience
Background in systems/ERP transformation
Experience of process improvement and operational efficiency
Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
Ability to turn detailed analysis into practical recommendations
Experience with Lean, automation or continuous improvement would be advantageous
Experience with plant hire, fleet, asset management, construction, infrastructure or engineering would be particularly useful.
What you'll get in return
c£550 per day (inside IR35)
