Business Analyst/ Project Analyst - Investment Operations

About the Role

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is looking for an Operations Business Analyst/ Project Analyst to support business transformation, process improvements and operational change initiatives across its investment operations function.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external service providers to deliver effective operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, working closely with Operations and Technology stakeholders.

• Conduct impact assessments, process mapping and gap analysis across existing and future operating models.

• Support operational transformation, system enhancements, data migration and process improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate UAT, functional testing, implementation and change management activities.

• Work with outsourced service providers to ensure successful delivery of operational changes.

• Support project governance, risk management, status reporting and stakeholder communications.

• Manage smaller projects independently where required.

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst / Project Analyst within asset management, banking or financial services.

• Good understanding of buy-side investment operations, middle-office processes, trade lifecycle and data management.

• Knowledge of collateral management, portfolio data, pricing, reconciliations and regulatory reporting.

• Experience with BlackRock Aladdin or FactSet would be advantageous.

• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, UAT and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with Asian financial markets and regulatory requirements would be beneficial.
