Business Analyst (Ref 101)
Summary
Business Analyst bridging business and technical teams in a Singapore-based IT consultancy, responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, producing functional specs and test strategies, and supporting SIT and UAT through to production deployment.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Analyst, you are required to understand business needs, elicit and document requirements and be a key bridge between business and technical teams
- Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders (IT teams and business users) to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts: detailed functional specifications, use cases, test strategy and test cases (including entry and exit criteria)
- Prepare, maintain and communicate the above mentioned functional documentation.
- Analyze and transform business requirements into solutions with the help of Development teams.
- Plan, prepare and execute the testing strategy and tests(SIT) of the overall developed solutions alongside with the QA team.
- Deliver fully tested products on-time, up to production deployment.
- Follow up and support User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
- Support the project planning, schedules and milestones in coordination with project teams.
Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
- Typically 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and experience on UAT
