Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer – PAM (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer (m/f/d) to support an Insurance Business Unit in a complex Privileged Access Management (PAM) project.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned topics, independently structure and analyze requirements, and act as an interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and other relevant stakeholders. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires the ability to understand complex technical environments, structure topics effectively, and drive work packages through to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, structure, and translate business and technical requirements within the PAM environment

• Assess existing processes, systems, privileged accounts, and relevant use cases

• Define and document requirements for PAM processes and solutions

• Coordinate independently with internal stakeholders, SMEs, system and account owners, and technical teams

• Plan, prepare, and facilitate workshops, alignment meetings, and progress meetings

• Support the onboarding of systems and privileged accounts into the PAM solution across different infrastructure and application areas

• Coordinate activities between PAM Engineers, Operations, and system and account owners

• Track implementation activities, testing, sign-offs, and open items

• Support integration and troubleshooting activities together with the responsible technical experts

• Contribute to the assessment and continuous improvement of existing PAM processes

• Coordinate and track relevant incident and change tickets

• Create structured documentation, status reports, and presentations

• Ensure transparent and effective communication across all relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable role within complex IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IAM, or related projects

• Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM)

• Good technical understanding of complex enterprise server and infrastructure environments, particularly:

  • Microsoft Active Directory, including fundamental directory service and authorization concepts

  • Windows and Linux server environments

  • User, service, and privileged accounts

  • Fundamental authentication and authorization concepts

• Ability to quickly understand technical dependencies and communicate effectively with infrastructure and engineering teams

• Experience in requirements management, stakeholder management, and change management

• Ability to analyze complex topics in a structured manner and document them clearly

• High degree of ownership and a proactive working style, including the ability to independently gather information, identify relevant stakeholders, clarify open points, and drive topics through to completion

• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

• Very good German and English language skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with CyberArk or a comparable PAM solution

• Experience preparing and facilitating technical workshops
