Business Analyst

Ringers Western is growing, and so is our technology team. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our high performing tech team and grow into a career in business analysis and systems delivery.

You will be the person who drives improvement, forms part of key project teams and picks up the issues that are too tricky for support - the ones that need real investigation, some detective work, and a properly thought through solution. Alongside that, you will get hands on exposure to systems documentation, data analysis and process improvement, working closely with every member of the team.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Drive improvement and form part of key project teams

• Investigate complex issues requiring detective work and properly thought through solutions

• Gather, document, and sign off requirements independently

• Engage directly with business stakeholders at manager/head-of level, including running workshops and handling conflicting priorities

• Write test cases, run UAT with business users, and manage defect triage through to go-live

• Manage vendor and implementation-partner relationships, holding third parties to account on scope, defects, and delivery dates

• Produce strong written documentation including requirements docs, process maps, and user stories

• Perform systems documentation, data analysis and process improvement work

About you

• 3–5+ years in a delivery BA role, not a support or reporting role with "analyst" in the title

• Hands-on ERP experience - has worked on an ERP implementation, upgrade, or as ongoing BA for a live ERP, with ability to discuss specific modules (inventory, purchasing, order management, finance integration)

• Independent requirements ownership - has gathered, documented, and signed off requirements without a senior BA reviewing their work

• Direct business stakeholder engagement at manager/head-of level, including running workshops and handling conflicting priorities

• UAT ownership - has written test cases, run UAT with business users, and managed defect triage through to go-live

• Vendor and implementation-partner management experience - can hold a third party to account on scope, defects, and delivery dates

• Strong written documentation capability

• Retail, e-commerce, wholesale, or apparel/consumer goods domain experience strongly considered

• Multi-channel systems exposure: ERP + e-commerce platform + WMS/3PL + POS, and the integrations between them strongly considered

• Integration literacy - can read an API spec, follow data between systems, and specify a mapping strongly considered

Nice to have (not essential)

• Agile delivery (backlogs, sprints, refinement) alongside more traditional documentation

• Process mapping tooling: Visio, Lucidchart, Miro

• SQL or reporting capability for self-service data investigation

• Prior experience being the sole BA in an organisation
