Business Analyst, SDLC, Corp Bank
Summary
This role involves acting as a Business Analyst within a corporate banking environment, managing the full SDLC process from requirements gathering to production support. The position requires extensive experience in stakeholder management, functional specification documentation, SQL data analysis, and testing coordination.
The role requires strong business analysis, project coordination, testing, data analysis, and stakeholder management capabilities. The incumbent will be responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, test management, user acceptance testing coordination, production deployment support, and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage business users and IT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications, use cases, test strategies, and test cases.
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions for development teams.
- Support project planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage issue resolution and escalation throughout project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain functional, operational, and user documentation.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for production incidents.
- Analyse large datasets and investigate data anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with business and technology teams across multiple locations to ensure successful project implementation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise-wide information systems within large organisations.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience coordinating between business users and IT teams.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis, functional specifications, and testing activities.
- Strong risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing and analysing complex queries.
- Experience preparing datasets for analysis and validation purposes.
- Experience creating process flows and solution designs.
- UI/UX experience, including preparing mock-ups using Figma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and JIRA.
- Knowledge of banking industry business processes and systems.
