NexAgent Technologies Ltd is a subsidiary company under the AAI Group. Our flagship product is Memkist — an AI-powered knowledgebase platform that turns a company, team, or family's stored documents into an intelligent brain: proactive alerts, agent workflows, and MCP integration with any AI harness.

The Role

You will be NexAgent's first dedicated business hire. Working on-site alongside the founder, you'll shape the product strategy, go-to-market, and operational foundation of the company — primarily for the Memkist brand. You'll also be a key liaison with the wider AAI Group, coordinating cross-company collaboration and leveraging group resources and opportunities.

This is not a corporate BA role buried under layers of management. You move between market research, customer interviews, financial modelling, competitive analysis, cross-group coordination, and writing spec documents — sometimes in the same day.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Product Team to explore new initiatives and improve existing platforms, balancing user needs, business value and delivery effort.

• Engage suppliers and buyers through discovery sessions, workflow reviews, demonstrations and onboarding support.

• Translate business problems into clear requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria and prioritised improvements.

• Improve supplier onboarding, catalogue readiness, RFQ and quotation workflows, and ongoing platform adoption.

• Build functional prototypes and proofs of concept using AI-assisted development tools, including API connections, data processing and simple database workflows.

• Validate solutions with users, coordinate UAT and work with the technical team to deliver improvements.

• Analyse onboarding and usage funnels, identify friction and run practical experiments to improve activation and engagement.

• Support the sales team with discovery, tailored demonstrations, solution explanations and customer feedback.
  

Requirements

• Strong business analysis skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to connect user needs with business outcomes.

• Confident communication and client-facing skills, including explaining solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Practical experience using tools such as Cursor, Codex, Claude, Antigravity or similar AI development tools.

• Ability to build a working proof of concept beyond a visual mockup, and explain, troubleshoot and refine the code or workflow you create.

• Working understanding of APIs, data structures and databases, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.

• Ownership, curiosity and a structured approach to solving ambiguous problems.

• We welcome AI-assisted and “vibe coding” experience. We value what you have built, how you evaluated it and how it solved a real problem.

• Marketplace, e-commerce, merchant or supplier management systems, including platforms such as Shopify, Alibaba or JD.com.

• B2B procurement, supplier onboarding, product catalogues, RFQs or quotation processes.

• Full-stack projects built with AI-assisted tools.

• AI workflow automation, document extraction or other practical AI applications.

• SEO and/or SEM experience, particularly in driving relevant traffic and measuring conversion.

• Product analytics, growth experiments or construction and building-materials industry experience.

Senior candidates

Candidates demonstrating greater ownership and delivery experience will be considered for Senior Business Analyst. At this level, you should be able to lead discovery independently, prioritise competing needs, manage stakeholders and guide initiatives from problem definition through delivery and adoption.

What success looks like

New initiatives are validated with users, existing platforms become easier to use, and product improvements lead to smoother onboarding, stronger engagement and measurable business value.
