Business Analyst — SharePoint
NewBe an early applicantOur client is a Singapore public-sector agency migrating its intranet and shared document repositories to SharePoint Online, working with an outsourced vendor to deliver the migration and ongoing platform governance. They're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to lead this initiative end-to-end — from current-state assessment through migration, governance and adoption.
What You'll Do
- Lead current-state assessment and migration planning for SharePoint sites, libraries, permissions and workflows
- Run discovery workshops with stakeholders to surface pain points and future-state needs
- Define the target-state information architecture (site structure, navigation, metadata, permissions)
- Develop the migration strategy, roadmap and business case inputs
- Manage the outsourced SharePoint vendor — defining requirements, reviewing proposals, monitoring delivery
- Establish SharePoint governance standards (site provisioning, permissions, content lifecycle, retention)
- Coordinate testing, defect resolution and post-migration validation
- Support stakeholder communications, training and adoption
Core Key Skills
- Hands-on experience assessing, designing, migrating or governing SharePoint Online environmentsExperience leading or materially supporting at least one SharePoint migration project
- Practical knowledge of SharePoint Online (sites, libraries, metadata, permissions, search)
- Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, acceptance criteria and test scenarios
- Experience managing outsourced vendors and delivery outcomes
- Strong stakeholder facilitation, analytical and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate/Power Apps
- Experience establishing SharePoint governance frameworks or operating models
- Familiarity with SharePoint Framework/APIs, sufficient to assess vendor proposals
- Relevant Microsoft certification (SharePoint, M365, or Power Platform)
- Familiarity with Singapore public-sector ICT and security requirements
